A cult actress from a beloved film of young and old fans has passed away.
June Lockhart, known for her role as a TV mother in the series “Lassie,” has died at the age of 100.
A family spokesman and friend revealed that she died at 9:20 p.m. of natural causes at her home in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, on Thursday.
In her final moments, the star was surrounded by her daughter June Elizabeth and granddaughter Christiana.
